"Ooh, Shiny" Syndrome Kills Me Every Time

Caught myself doing it again.  I'm always getting distracted by the little things.  Instead of posting or thinking of things to post in my down time, here I am looking up solutions to itty-bitty problems such as why I can't get text to wrap from the top of an image in an <iframe>, or Googling how to show rounded corners...Just did it again; took a break after I wrote the last sentence to figure out rounded corners for multiple browsers inside Text and HTML/Javascript widgets.  The only one acceptable to Blogger, apparently, is -moz-border-radius; unless there's a serious glitch, which I wouldn't doubt since everything was wiped out when I saved it when Blogger didn't like one little piece of CSS.  It kept deleting all other border radius attributes, which you can see here if you want to try them out.  Hmm, let me try one more thing with -webkit-border-top-left-radius.  Nope, that also was deleted.

Okay, screw it.  Yes, I know that the look is important, but the content is more so, which is why I never got anywhere for so many years.  All my free minutes that weren't devoted to TV, music, movies, games, drawing, reading, work, housecleaning, et cetera, were spent on learning (and promptly forgetting) HTML and CSS and trying to make a site look just a tad less than fugly.  But those minutes were few and far between, so nothing much came of it.  Should have just picked a nice blog in the first place and got to writing.  Well, now I know better, finally.

Okay, that's it for now.  Don't have work.  I'm going to ignore everything else and go play God of War III (kicked Hades' butt!...eventually, after a lot of whining and dying, because I was on Titan.  Gonna have to get better at dodging by the time I play on Chaos).  Also should pick up those last few statues I missed in Brütal Legend, a game that any fan of humor and metal should have.  Good excuse to listen to more music...so much music.  And I definitely want to play again because of the hilarious Jack Black, devilishly good Tim Curry, and rock god Ozzy Osbourne.  Oops, a bit off topic, but that usually happens with me.
