A few weeks ago I noticed a few letters from my registrar that my domain 365L.com had expired. It said I had to renew during the 12-day grace period or I would incur an $80 fee. I missed it by 6 days. I was surprised by this because I thought the grace period was longer, something like 30 days. Maybe it used to be.
I kept putting off renewal because December was very busy. Yeah, it was only about $8, but I wasn't thinking clearly at the time. I was thinking about my day job and decorating and shopping for Christmas. I don't do automatic renewals because I am not going to pay full price when there are coupon codes out there, but that nearly screwed me here. If it was going to cost $80, I was going to let it go to auction and take the chance that I would be the only bidder even though I love the name and see it being developed one day. But I went to see if I could renew anyway, found a coupon code, and I got it for the normal renewal fee. Holy crap! Yay! Hopefully, I won't do that again.
Codes that I got in my email that still work:
GDBBREN8 will bring a domain renewal from $13.17 down to $8.17. The coupon works with multi-year renewals and multiple domains, but a new domain will be only 10% off.
gdbba366 takes 20% off any order.
bb5020d15, bb5020d30, bb5020d60, and bb5120d30 takes 20% off of $40 or more.
GDBBE729 takes 25% off $65 or more.
gdbb1901 takes 25% off $75 or more.
If these codes have expired by the time you try them, see my newest post, RetailMeNot or ComCoupons.
