Links

This list is by no means comprehensive, but it will continue to grow.  It consists of companies I've personally used and those I've read good things about.

Parking Companies
There are no minimums at these sites, and they all allow "for sale" links.

Bodis
NameDrive
Noomle - not strictly parking since you can add your own content.
Parked
Sedo
WhyPark - not strictly parking since you can add your own content.

*GoDaddy - While this is actually a domain registrar, any domain you buy is automatically parked with them - without you seeing a dime - until you use it for a website.  If it's a name that gets good traffic, then you might consider signing up for their Cash Parking program, but they do charge you for the privilege.  It's about $4 a month for the basic package, which doesn't seem worth it compared to just about any other one of the free parking sites, unless your domain gets huge traffic already or you own a lot of them.

PCs I Haven't Tried Yet
I haven't tried the following because of time constraints or quantity/quality minimums, but it looks like I'll be trying BigJumbo next.  It seems there are no minimums there.

BigJumbo
Domain Development Corp.
DomainAdvertising
DomainSponsor
Dotzup
Fabulous
FirstLook
HitFarm
HotKeys
Skenzo
SmartName
Trafficz

Analytics and Optimization
Essential free tools for researching domains and getting the most out of your parked domains or websites.

Google Keyword Tool - This is part of the Google AdWords site, but you don't need to create an advertising campaign to use it.  There are also a number of other helpful tools here.

Google Analytics - Only for domains that point to a site.  The good thing is you don't have to spend a penny; you could just set up a simple blog at Blogger or WordPress.  But you actually have to at least semi-regularly contribute some content.  Track visitors, traffic sources, bounce rates, and average time on site stats.  Even set goals for your site.  There are so many different options here it's almost mind-boggling that it's free.  If your domain is parked you can't use this tool, but the parking company will have some of their own statistics so that you can optimize there.

Google Webmaster Tools - Again, you need a presence on the Web not just a domain name.  Submit your sitemap to Google to be indexed, check out backlinks, diagnose problems, see the last time Google crawled your site, and more.

Google Webmaster Tools Help - Essential if you're going to use Webmaster Tools.  There's a good chance you will have a question, unless you're an expert in everything.

Google Website Optimizer - Splits your visitors into groups and shows each a different variation of whatever pages you have set up.  Google will then tell you what was the most effective.
